Agreed that I like Walz's chances...


if nothing else, he showed himself (and everyone else) that one or two bad moves wouldn't be enough to stop him. If he falls behind he can catch and release as good as anyone to put points on the board. In some ways it reminded me of Sean Gray (VT) going against Doug Schwab (Iowa, defending NC) many years ago with Gray's many takedowns, but the one feet to back from Schwab ended up being the difference.

I was more impressed with Kasper after that match though. I'm hoping Ty goes through him for the title to prove himself. I'm not sure how much more is gained by going through Ryan Solomon yet again.
